ADHD - A Revolutionary Approach

  • There is no “one size fits all” approach to helping children and adults with ADHD, and we believe that individuals and families should be able to make an informed choice based upon the range of treatments now available. 

    Many people with ADHD have tried medication, coaching and/or talk-based therapies, but these options do not work for everybody, and nowadays people are increasingly looking for answers and a new approach..

  • The Perth Brain Centre takes a very different approach to helping children and adults with ADHD based upon the brain's natural ability to change, known as neuroplasticity. QEEG Brain Scans are used to assess how the brain is working, and this information guides personalised “brain-training” known as Neurofeedback Therapy.

    Neurofeedback is a drug-free, effective and evidence-based therapy that helps to reduce the core symptoms of ADHD (inattentiveness, hyperactivity and impulsivity) in the long-term, as people  "strengthen” or “re-wire’ their brain by training brainwaves, the tiny electrical signals naturally produced by the brain.
