About Perth Brain Centre
Welcome to Perth Brain Centre
Increasingly, experts understand that brain health and mental health are deeply connected, and at Perth Brain Centre, we know that better brain health can change lives. For over 15 years, thousands of West Australians have trusted our caring and supportive team to help using drug-free, evidence-based and personalised therapies that work by “re-training” or “re-wiring” the brain.
Recognising that brain health and mental health are closely connected helps to reduce the stigma that can still sometimes be associated with conditions such as ADHD, anxiety, and autism. Shifting our perspective can also provide new opportunities to help by focusing on therapies that harness the brain's natural ability to change, known as neuroplasticity.
Our Approach - Neuroplasticity
At Perth Brain Centre, our approach is firmly grounded in the science of neuroplasticity - The brain’s natural and remarkable ability to change, create new pathways and reorganise itself throughout life. The discovery of neuroplasticity, that the brain is “plastic” and not “fixed”, is probably the most important breakthrough in neuroscience in over 400 years and is driving a revolution in brain-based therapies.
Using advanced QEEG Brain Scans and over 15 years of experience, we help people understand how their brain works and provide a range of drug-free, evidence-based, and personalised therapies that harness neuroplasticity and the brain's natural ability to change, offering a revolutionary path to recovery and better health.

Brain-Based Therapies
Brain-based therapies can provide effective alternatives to, or can work alongside, traditional behavioural therapies, medication, psychology and talk-based therapies.
We provide a range of evidence-based brain-based therapies according to people’s needs. The combination of their drug-free nature, safety, and ability to deliver lasting results makes them very appealing to many people.
QEEG Brain Scans & Mapping
Perth Brain Centre uses functional brain imaging technology known as Quantitative Electroencephalogram (QEEG) Brain Scans and 3-Dimensional Brain Mapping, using Low-resolution Electromagnetic Tomography (LORETA).
QEEG Brain Scans are safe, well-known assessments used in scientific research and clinical practice. QEEG Brain Scans are appropriate for almost any age and are conducted on-site in our clinic. Unlike standard CT and MRI scans, which provide information about brain structure, QEEG Brain Scans provide information about how the brain is working by directly measuring the electrical activity of the brain, known as “brain waves.” Specialised software is used to compare an individual’s pattern of brainwave activity to reference databases. The results of this complex analysis are used to generate 2-Dimensional and detailed 3-Dimensional images that show brain function.
